NexRide Beginner Guide: Keys, Garage & Charging

Get your first bike moving, find the phone apps, and understand what the available gameplay evidence confirms.

No story spoilers

§How to start your bike#

The community gameplay guide describes this sequence at about 1:20. These are reported PC controls; use the prompts shown by your current game session.

  • Click your bike to sit on it.
  • Press 1 to equip the main key, then use the key on the bike.
  • Click the kickstand to raise it before trying to ride.
  • If the bike still will not move, check that the key was used and the stand is raised. These checks follow the demonstrated startup sequence; they do not diagnose every possible bug.

§Open your phone and retrieve a bike#

Press T on PC to open the phone, then select Garage. At about 3:40, the presenter identifies this app as the place to bring a bike back. Later, the guide uses Garage to access a newly purchased bike.

Open Garage before assuming that a purchased bike is missing. Check the owned-bike entries and the current on-screen action. The precise button label, cooldown and restrictions have not been confirmed, so this guide does not promise an instant recovery during a police chase.

§Where to look when your battery runs out#

The reviewed video points to the bike store at about 5:22 and says bikes can be charged there. Earlier, it opens the phone map and routes to Bike Club. The video does not demonstrate a complete charging interaction.

To follow the available location lead, open the phone with T, open the map, and look for Bike Club. The video uses its route function to reach the shop area. Once there, use the actual charging prompt if one is available. We have not confirmed which object to interact with, an activation key, a fee, or how long charging takes.

A trip to Bike Club is a community-reported location lead. It is not a verified complete charging walkthrough. If no charging interaction appears, avoid spending cash on an unrelated upgrade expecting it to refill the battery. Check the current game prompts and developer announcements.

Three of the eight comments reviewed on the video ask about charging or say that the promised demonstration is missing. That gap remains open. Resetting the character and respawning a bike have not been verified as battery-refill methods.

§Sport Mode: what is known#

At about 6:25, the presenter says Sport Mode makes the bike faster. The exact switching input, compatible bikes, speed gain and battery effect are not established by the transcript.

Use the mode control displayed in your current bike interface if available. This guide does not assign an unverified keyboard shortcut or recommend buying a particular bike to unlock the mode.

§A practical first ride#

Start with the startup sequence, open your phone, and learn how to find Garage and the map before committing to a longer trip. The guide warns that running red lights and reckless riding can attract police attention.

Plan a short route to Bike Club if you want to inspect customization. Keep your first purchase separate from learning the controls: the available material does not support a reliable fastest-bike ranking or a full price list.

§FAQ#
